| Bio: | Born in Hampshire and trained in acting and dance, Sarah made several TV appearances in the early 70s before gaining attention with a starring role in fondly-remembered BBC children’s drama The Moon Stallion in 1978. Shortly afterwards, she was cast as Nyssa of Traken on Doctor Who, a character initially meant to appear in just one episode, but who ended up as travelling companion to the Doctor for two years, between 1981 and 1983. Since then she has continued to act occasionally (including multiple appearances in Big Finish’s range of Doctor Who audio dramas), but has primarily focussed on her role as mother. | Links: |
