| Bio: | Born in Manchester, Jackie started her acting career on television with a role on the BBC soap Compact before being offered a part on Doctor Who, where she played companion Dorothea Chaplet (Dodo for short) during the programme’s third series in 1966. Shortly afterwards, she decided to quit acting altogether and subsequently had a successful career running a voiceover agency — her clients included Doctor Who stars Tom Baker and Janet Fielding among others. | Links: |
