| Bio: | Born in London, raised in Canada, Cartmel was hired in late 1986 by John Nathan-Turner to act as Script Editor of Doctor Who, a post he held for the entirety of the Seventh Doctor era until 1989 when the programme was “rested” by the BBC. Afterwards he worked as script editor for the BBC’s popular hospital drama Casualty and editor of Starburst magazine, as well as writing tie-in novels for Doctor Who, Judge Dredd and The Prisoner plus his own original novels. | Links: |
