Description: DVD compilation of the original 30-minute versions of the Myth Makers interviews numbers 9 to 16, exactly as they were first released on VHS in the 1980s (before expanded editions were released in the 1990s): Sarah Sutton, Deborah Watling, Victor Pemberton, Ian Marter, John Levene, Peter Grimwade, Jon Pertwee and Richard Franklin. The only exception is the Jon Pertwee interview, since there was no extra footage added to that during its various VHS/DVD re-releases. However, the original 1989 VHS animated titles and episode breaks were edited down when re-released, so the full unedited intros & titles have been included here for completeness (however this DVD does not include the interview itself). Cover blurb: But the first episodes were only 30 minutes long, had animated titles shot on film by Kevin Jon Davies and superb sound design and music by Mark Ayres. In the 1990s, all of these edits were withdrawn when updated interviews were recorded and combined with the original material to produce longer episodes. Here, in their original format, untouched, are those original edits. Travel back it [sic] time to see how Myth Makers was born!
