This MA was the first Missing adventure i had ever read! I bought it off ebay and was in Excellent condition, and was selling at an awsome price. It had my most favroute treo, The 4th Doctor, Harry and Sarah who worked together so well on screen that i simply had to but this book and for all it was worth, im glad to give it 10 out of 10. The whole thought of Harry working for MI5 intrigued me though, did he simply abandond the Navy or gave it up because ofcourse, Harrys aged a little since he was on screen which I found interesting since Harry and Sarah were about the same age on screen but at all adds up in the end, the plot, even the characters are fully fleshed out and the Doctor reminds me of- in this setting and time of the android invasion.
Sarah and Harry are both the companions they were on the tele and the book itself is a fantastic read- really is and if your a fan of the 4th Doctor, Sarah and Harry, then this book should be the first in a long line of your collection- honestly!
I always loved the Pertwee era. This book captures the era perfectly. Its exactly how it should be, twists and turns at every oppitunity. The Doctors on top form and so is Jo whose character really is something in this book, if your a fan of the 3rd Doctor and Jo, this book is for you.
Lots of twists and turns and an interesting read on the whole- loved it!
The Many hands is pretty good. Martha gets kidnaped, the dead walk, theres little zomie hand things(the many hands of Alexander Monroe)what more could you ask for.

A very good book iI could not put it down
I have not listened to the audio for the story and as the episodes are missing I cannot vouch for the televised story, but this novel is great and I think this is a totally underrated gem.
I really enjoyed this story. A perfect 1st Doctor story, just a shame its missing, but this page-turner almost makes up for the absence of the actual video.
Great imagination and fantastic excitement!
The author is really cool!

Basically Invasion of Time is a good story spoilt by very poor producution. However the optional CGI effects go some way to redressing the balance. Recommended.

I bought this annual not long ago off ebay and it was in fantastic condition. The stories were amazing, they havent quite got the companion off to a tea however the Doctor sparkles and the stories are above par- definatly something to watch out for if you have not got this as part of your collection- given the fact your a 'who' fan or not.

You simply cant fault this episode. I love his one simply because the Doctor had become slightly darker in his approach and Ace had slightly graver things to worry about like her family and personal events leading up to Survival. The Heamorvores are a spectacular race if not completly terrifying. Commander Millington also brings colour to the spookyness and the tone of the episode and the erriness of the great ash tree and the background knolage is also a plus which ofcourse works in a story like this one.
I simply cant fault this episode, its up there with Terror of the Zygons and Battlefield etc.....

Oh, this episode was a solid one in every sense of the word. I loved the reality of what was going on and the emotions used to demonstrate what it all summed up to and eventually became, a great piece of drama and the book picks up on this really well. The Doctor became a mystique i believed when i read and watched/viewed this episode and was one of the very best episodes of the MCcoy era.
The Gods of Ragnarock are ofcourse something highly orriginal and new and make for a good arcyh enermy even though as much as you do not suspect them in the circus top apart from there occasional squirms made by the younger of the three, they are very powereful and manipulative and terrifying and fit in the story well.
Also, i found the clowns rather creepy! The Doctor and Ace were both thier usual selves and as a Dr Who fan, you must buy both the book and the video, its not to be missed!
this book is good.it remindes me of my hoilday because i got it at the air port . very understanderle.
I wasnt impressed when I read Silver nemesis from start to finish all in one day because in my very own opinion, the televised episode had alot more to offer and the book has its own limitations and restrictions. Though, it is one of my favroutes as a whole and does deserve more credit than has been due. Sylvester Mccoy and Sophie Aldread had alot to offer in that episode and I do believe it was one of the better ones back then!
It was a shame to see her go, it truely was. It was a great way to end her time on the show and though it may seem that to me her departure was a sad one and a very sorry one for the show, she soon reappeared in the new series alongside the 10th doctor. I was glad to see her return and this story is a must for any Dr Who fan around. You must get this if yopu have not already, it truly stands out as one of the very best alongside Robot and the Massacre of Mandragora.
This story i favoured by myself for so many reasons. I love this story because ever since i was little, i have sat through it avidly and listened to it tentativly. I love the fact the daleks despise one another for what Davros has done to them. The settings brill, taking the Doctor back to the school from the Unearthly child. I particularly liked Sylvesters portrayal as the timelord as he was a very dark and mystrious character, i thought. I liked it from beginnig to end and to buy it on DVD would have to be a must for myself because i already have two versions on video and i do not want to ruin my cassetss so it would be great to have on DVD!
Im getting annoyed with what 2 Entertain have to offer at times. I loved the Five Doctors. This story was one of my all time favrouites and i will tell you for why. I am a great fan of John Pertwees Doctor, he always had a certain charm that that i loved about him. Patrick Troughton was comedic and highly entertaining and i also think that the story fitted nicely between Peter Davisons run as the Doctor. Plus, brilliant scenes of the Raston warior who the cybermen clearly had no chance in defeating. The use of the dalek i felt had a huge impact on the 1st Doctor who at times was not hi self but at some times portrayed the character like the original once had. All in all, i enjoyed it and is one that belongs in my collection.
This story resembles one I have watched before. I had long before perchased Horror of Fang Rock and thought it to be fantastci! I must say that this book must be- in some sort of fasion a sequel of sorts. I must admit that Rose comes to life like the Doctor does and that the setting is as believable as any but i felt that the beginning was a tad overwhelming. I loved it though, took me along time to read through but I got there in the end! Fantastic!
Ah, The Sting of the Zygons....Twas an interesting read to say the least. In other words I enjoyed it immensly. I love the use of language and the fact that Marthas skin was mentioned to give the reader some sort of insight into what it was like in those day when people had not known a black person to do niether this nor that, and her reaction to that is as good as any.
The Doctor here is on top form yet again, I do believe the writers have a knack for his character better than Ecclestons. David Tennant is just how the Doctor should be, charismatic, overwhelming at times and generally a know all of whats going on-occasionly.
The charcters are massivly impressive, steven Cole gives each and every one of them one of thier very own back stories that often relate to whats going on. Even the Cows- Suspect them at all costs. (By the way- that may have been a SPOILER!)
The Settings brill, the Zygons are as though they havent changed over the many years and the book itself stands up the television series superbly!
What a fantastic read, i only bought this a couple of days ago and i can tell you, it was worth the cost. The charcters were true to form and the dialougue was brill. The plot became something more in what was made from all the chaos going on but it was true delight.
Marthas amazing, she and the Doctor are on top form here and this only goes to proove that the classic series, mixed with the new series have not changed that much over the years, thats for sure!
You have got to read this book, its a must for any Dr Who fan and would certainly add to your collection, no dought! It certainly sits well amoungst my collection!
this book is griping and very exciting. i hope justin richards'other books are as good

Absolutely brilliant, would love to see what the new series could do with the shape-changing Zygons, should they ever make a televised appearance like the Sontarans from the comic strip medium.
