Cover blurb: Doctor Who battles a deadly Martian fungus It is now the 21st Century and, in this feature-length adventure, Earth is completely dependent on “T-Mat”, a revolutionary form of instant travel. When the system breaks down, Doctor Who (Patrick Troughton) leads a dangerous expedition to the T-Mat relay station on the moon. There he finds that the relay station has fallen into the hands of the Ice Warriors who are planning an invasion of Earth! The Ice Warriors use T-Mat to transport seed pods to Earth. When the pods burst, they disgorge a deadly Martian fungus which spreads rapidly, extracting vital oxygen from the atmosphere. The only hope for a dying world is for the Doctor somehow to outwit the Ice Warriors and destroy the fungus before it’s too late. |
