Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Ghostly trees, cursed books and the occasional killer costume. I must say that, no trick, this book is a treat.

Fun and easy-paced book. Sort of creepy at times. Over all, good.

Forever Halloween...

The second Doctor Who book I’ve picked up…this week. And I wasn’t let down.

I’m really enjoying these books; the series of books so far has been a great deal of fun. I normally don’t read books aimed at younger readers, but the adventures the characters go on are fun. The books also act as trips to the TARDIS when the show isn’t on.

As for this book, if you like all things Halloween, then you won’t be let down. A nice quick read that you won’t find boring at all.

Good Monster-of-the-Week...

An original author-created baddie with some admittedly unoriginal traits but all in all they were used well and create a good theme and plot.

Some good original characters but many seemed superfluous, on the other hand the characterisations of Martha and the Doctor were spot on, best as I've ever seen in one of these books.

Well written, some nice twists and tricks, clever references and plenty of things to make a fan smile even if they somehow failed to enjoy the story itself.
