Cover blurb:
Freema Agyeman reads the gripping story of Martha’s travels round the world, spreading the word about the Doctor

For a year, while the Master ruled over Earth, Martha Jones travelled the world telling people stories about the Doctor. She told people of how the Doctor has saved them before, and how he will save them again.

This is that story. It tells of Martha’s travels from her arrival on Earth as the Toclafane attacked and decimated the population through to her return to Britain to face the Master. It tells how she spread the word and told people about the Doctor. The story of how she survived that terrible year...

Featuring the Doctor and Martha as played by David Tennant and Freema Agyeman in the hit series from BBC Television. The Story of Martha is read by Freema Agyeman.

Note:

  • Unabridged reading, containing all of the stories from the original book, although the cover doesn’t mention this and only names Dan Abnett as the sole author.
  • This is a limited-release “library edition”, published by Chivers Audiobooks, a subsidiary of AudioGO/BBC Audio — the differences between this and the usual BBC Audio releases are threefold: 1) The availability is much more limited, being made available for purchase only via the AudioGO Web site; 2) The discs are burned onto CD-Rs rather than being “regular” pressed CDs; 3) The discs come packaged in an oversized library “wallet”-style case, rather than the usual CD jewel box. This reflects the fact that the primary audience for these library editions are public libraries (however since they are technically available for purchase by the general public via AudioGO, hence why they qualify for inclusion on this site).
