Although a couple of the stories are reminiscent of the Troughton annuals (e.g. the Doctor and Liz shrinking themsleves down to explore the universes in an atom!), there is for the first time a feeling that the authors have watched the TV series, with many stories capturing the new, gritty feel of Earth-bound UNIT stories in the dramatic mould of the 1970 series. A rare book, but highly recommended. Really groovy illustrations and cover, too!
