Description:  Autobiography of Andrew Morgan, the veteran TV director best known in a Doctor Who context for directing the Seventh Doctor TV stories Time and the Rani and Remembrance of the Daleks.

Cover blurb:
‘When the location filming came to an end, there was a party in the unit hotel and we were entertained by Sylvester playing the spoons. He was brilliant and JNT immediately wanted to put it in the script and sure enough a pair of alien spoons appeared in the Rani’s laboratory which Sylvester proceeded to play all over the Rani.’

Andrew Morgan has enjoyed an amazing career in television. From AFM (assistant floor manager) in the sixties on programmes such as The Troubleshooters, The Expert and Sherlock Holmes, he moved to work as production assistant on Softly, Softly, Warship, Walk with Destiny, Wings and Colditz before before [sic] becoming a freelance director and bringing such gems as Who Pays the Ferryman?, Secret Army, Blake’s 7, Doctor Who, Triangle, Swallows and Amazons Forever!, Juliet Bravo, EastEnders, The Famous Five, The Prince and the Pauper, Casualty and Heartbeat to the screen, along the way winning an Emmy Award for Little Lord Fauntleroy.

In this book, Andrew lays bare the trials and tribulations of working as a director, with stories of friendships, affairs, drama and happiness behind the scenes.
