On a far distant planet a group of archaeologists for the Trianna System are excavating a dead world. Except it isn’t really dead. Whatever killed the inhabitants centuries ago has been awoken by their digging, a gelatinous parasite, intelligent, unforgiving and with a desperate thirst for the one thing that can keep it alive — violent, negative emotions.
