Description:  This is not actually a collection of Doctor Who stories — rather, this anthology of horror stories simply used Pertwee’s name in order to appeal to Who fans, although it does contains a prologue, epilogue and 1-page introduction to each story, all of which were written by Pertwee and which mention some of the monsters he faced as the Doctor.

Cover blurb:
‘Do you believe in monsters?’ is the question that Jon Pertwee — whose connection with some very strange creatures indeed is well known — asks in his introduction to these gripping stories. Even if you don’t believe in monsters at the beginning of this book, who knows what you might believe at the end...? For here you will meet such strange and terrifying creatures as the house that eats all those who live in it; a monster polluted by pollution and a plant that selects its friends and victims very carefully...

A compelling selection of stories, which will enthral and entice readers.

Cover blurb:
‘Do you believe in monsters? What would you do if you actually met one? As a matter of fact you probably have, without realizing it. There are many around us now, alive and well, and living in our complex society: monsters don’t have to have two or more heads, and rampage around the countryside breathing fire — although there are some in this book that do....’

This is how Jon Pertwee introduces this compelling collection of weird stories. They will really make you wonder whether you do believe in monsters — that is, if you’re brave enough to read them....
