Her dramatisation of JOHN WYNDHAM’S book THE CHRYSALIDS was broadcast on radio in 1981. When BARBARA was commissioned by ERIC SAWARD to write ENLIGHTENMENT, she became the first woman to write for DOCTOR WHO and for the TARGET novelisations.
