| Bio: | Bonita Melody Lysette Langford was born in Surrey and began her showbiz career at an early age — first achieving fame on the TV talent show Opportunity Knocks aged six. Her two defining acting roles were in 1976 as spoilt brat Violet Elizabeth Bott in Just William, then as Melanie Bush (Mel for short), bubbly companion to the Sixth and Seventh Doctors from 1986-87. Since leaving Doctor Who she has continued to regularly sing, dance and act, including starring roles in West End musicals such as Cats and The Pirates of Penzance. | Links: |
