| Bio: | London-born actor, real name Peter Moffett. Became the fifth (and then-youngest) actor to play the Doctor when he took over from Tom Baker in 1981. At the time he was already well known from his role as country vet Tristan Farnon in All Creatures Great and Small, and since leaving Doctor Who in 1984 he has continued to remain in the public eye, with starring roles in TV series such as Campion, A Very Peculiar Practice and At Home with the Braithwaites plus guest roles on Tales of the Unexpected, Magnum, P.I. and Jonathan Creek. | Links: |
