| Bio: | Lancashire-born actor and TV presenter, best known to the British public for two high-profile television roles: first as Steven Taylor, travelling companion to William Hartnell's Doctor from 1965-1966. A year after leaving Doctor Who he was given the job as co-presenter on the long-running BBC children's programme Blue Peter, a job he held for over 10 years alongside Valerie Singleton and John Noakes in what is fondly remembered by many as a "golden age" for the programme. Since then, he has worked continually as a TV presenter, commentator and theatre director, as well as managing his own video production company. | Links: |
