| Bio: | English actress who who started work as a model in the late 50s before moving into acting. Initially attracted notice with a TV role in Z-Cars and an appearance in the 1962 movie version of Day of the Triffids. Shortly thereafter she was cast as Susan Foreman, the Doctor's granddaughter in the first series of Doctor Who. When she left partway through the second season, she became the first of the original TARDIS crew to leave the programme. She continued acting thereafter (mainly in theatre) before starting a family and embarking on a new career as a vocal coach. | Links: |
