Between 2001 and 2007, Big Finish (creators of the New Audio Adventures) released 4 series of Doctor-less audio dramas titled Dalek Empire, all written by "voice of the Daleks" Nick Briggs. Each series consisted of either 4 or 6 feature-length episodes, each on one CD.
Even though the cast didn't directly include the Doctor or any other characters from Doctor Who (apart from the Daleks themselves), the cast did include several prominent Who and sci-fi actors in recurring roles, including David Tennant (a couple of years before he was cast in Doctor Who), Noel Clarke (Mickey from the new series), Maureen O'Brien (Vicki from the classic series) and Gareth Thomas (Blake in Blake's 7) among others.
